Today is the day for a save-the-world post.

I know, I know. Yeah, I know. I should post more things like this one. But it’s hard to see nice initiatives like this one around, online. If there’s anything like this site, you may forward to me. This is also the first time I am reviewing a single page, instead of a full site or service. Okay, enough talking. Let’s go reviewing.

Do you do drugs?

Vistabay, despite of the clean clean view, has really insightful material posted, pretty much all the main information about the most addictive drugs you’ll need is there. I would also add that their fantastic page post on drug warning signs, symptoms and side effects is my focus here, on I Review You.

On this page, you can find descriptions of the main drugs and some other info on them, like symptoms of cocaine for instance. You could also look for the strange methamphetamine warning signs. It also mentions heroin, nicotine, oxycontin, xanax, ritalin, demerol, vicodin and, of course, valium.

Even if you don’t do drugs, check this out. I mean, maybe you aren’t recognizing symptoms of cocaine addiction on a friend of yours. Please, don’t skip this page. You can regret later…

Cheers!

After getting an e-mail announcing that my account was banned - for no reason whatsoever -, I’ve wondered how I’d replace the income. As I’ve told you before, it was never a great sum of money, but it was money nevertheless. So okay, I was lost, since I had put all my efforts in only one resource.

Wrong choice.

Spreading yourself over, at least, three sources of income is the best thing. Okay, you may register at a hundred or so services, but you’ll know what are the ones that really make it work. So I’ve sticked to my new sources. They’ve been working well now. That money loss from AdSense was a huge loss?

No, it was not.

Since then, I’ve earned twice as much the amount I got in four months. And that was a month ago. So you see… I’ve made eight times more than with AdSense.

Being banned from a service has never been this great. Honestly: get banned.

Okay, enough of UK sites for now. It’s time for something different. Let’s move on to Jerusalem. Tonight, I’ll talk about Yissum, who offers technology transfer services for marketing the inventions and know-how that are generated b the University’s researchers and students.

For you guys who don’t know what technology transfer means, it means a way to share the knowledge generated somewhere to other places, who can further develop it and use it on products, services or more research.

Over the past forty years, the technology transfer office in Yissum has granted more than four hundred licenses, resulting in almost a billion dollars sales of products around the globe, every year. That’s a lot of money, if you stop and think about it. You probably won’t earn a billion dollars in your whole life. Or even in two.

At the center of the world, Yissum is not here for games. Their strongest areas are nutrition, agriculture, water and environmental technologies, computer science, homeland security, medicine, pharmaceuticals and nanotechnology, so you know it covers pretty much all the cutting edge areas out there.

If you’re into researching, you should give a look at what Yissum has to offer. I guarantee you it’s not a waste of time.

Viagogo, a place to know what you’ll do this weekend (and to get your tickets too).

It seems like it’s that season of the year for UK sites. After posting about Directline City Breaks, it’s time to let you all know about that viagogo.co.uk site. If you’re a fan of going out and just can’t stay at home, you must have heard about this site. Ever wondered why you’re spending the night in, if you know something nice is going on in town? And where should you look for info? Please, check Viagogo. They go from wrestling tickets to Coldplay tickets, from Reading Festival tickets to O2 Wireless tickets. When you want, it’s there. What you want, it’s there. And even if you don’t want it, it’s still there.

Viagogo.co.uk is a leading ticket hub in the Old Continent, so you’re not only searching or selling tickets for UK-based events, if you remember how integrated they are. There are tickets for the German football Bundesliga and they even sold tickets for the Olympic Games in Beijing! Wow, now that’s a huge range. You can see that you’ll never run out of good art presentation/sports matchs ever!

There are two great things about this site that really got my attention. First, its wide wild range. Anything that needs a ticket to get in is there, online, expecting you to get it. Wow, you can find just anything. Second, if you bought a ticket and, for some reason, you’re not able to attend the presentation/match, you can sell it on the site. Yes, you’ve read it correctly! You can sell your ticket there. Also, you list it for free; you don’t even have to pay for it. Viagogo only takes fifteen percent off it if you sell the ticket(s).

Viagogo guarantees you’ll get your tickets. And before the event, of course. Also, they accept MasterCard, VISA and PayPal, so if you’re into “online money”, you’re also able to pay and sell your tickets. No problem there! There’s another great thing here: if you’re an event producer, you could even sell the tickets for the presentation online! Viagogo scores! You could let it be available online for people that can’t go to your location to buy the ticket and have a bigger audience!

Viagogo is just another great service the web can get to us, fans of sports and art. Or even for us, producers.

If you’re from the UK, please take a look at this.

Directline city breaks is everything you need to travel inside Europe. All you have to do is to opt for a city, dates and where you’re coming from, in the UK. The main part of the site is pretty straight forward (which is just perfect): the search box is right at eye-level and contains the regular options: dates, city and rooms needed/people traveling. You could try it out for weekend breaks, but I’d definitely recommend it for longer trips, since the biggest weight in the final price is the plane ticket. Don’t take a night in Vienna for £416, if you can pay £690 for nine nights in the same hotel! The price difference is so small… Also, the flights are from almost anywhere in the UK.

The greatest thing about DCB is that it deals with hand-picked hotels, so you can get really great treats for a small price. Most of those hotels here in Brazil (or worse: in South America) are offline, so everytime something like this pops up to me, it’s a gift.

Wait, all-in-one-tool for short breaks is NOT all that DCB is. They also have city guides and a car hire service. I know, maybe if you’re going somewhere you already know something about your destination. But if it’s brand new to you, you should check it. New info about a trip destination is always good, don’t forget that place you heard about once.

Oh, and don’t forget that any online booking has £50 off the price! Nice treat there.

If you want not to get more pain as you grow older, you want to hear about PATH.

I must say, the first time I saw their info, it was a bit shocking. I mean, are we able to do that already? PATH is an abbreviation for (The) Place for Achieving Total Health. Headed by Dr. Eric Braverman, MD, PATH Medical researches ways that we can grow older, while still keeping our vitality as time goes by. Combining conventional and new techniques, their offer is to recognize the most rapidly aging parts on a human body. From there, the work is pretty much focused in the details of those parts. Working with this early detection option, your most fragile parts can get more attention before they even start to fail.

There are different options on what you should do. For the Brain/Mind Assessment option, you can have your brain diagnosed and check four key measures: Brain Power, Brain Speed, Brain Rhythm and Brain Synchrony. Respectvely, losses can cause weight gain, memory lapses, seizures and insomnia.

For a Total Body Assessment, the ultrasound can check the situation on your organs and vascular systems, while other diagnosis evaluations will focus on a neuro-muscular-skeletal review (pretty much like the reviews you find in IReviewYou.com) of your body.

One of the greatest things about this is that we really get to know our body age. For instance, the oldest parts on a 18-years-old body is only three to five years old. However, they can get as old as twenty years old on someone that has passed through 75 winters. Did you really think you’re as old as your birth date says? Hm… Guess not!

PATH Medical also leads to Total Health Nutrients, a resource for products that can help you on your anti-aging campaign. You should check that out.

It compares multiple online banks and finds the best suiting one for the specific features you want. I’ve had a major headache when I looked for this same info, but for my own country, sometime ago. I wish there was something similar here in Brazil. The listings also provide what other products this same bank is offering, such as checking accounts, loans or credit cards. Some of the banks will let you start your own account even without a minimum deposit. Don’t think it’s only those obscure small-sized banks offering this, you can name big ones there like HSBC and Citi.

Water Alarm is one of those life-saving devices that you’ll eventually mention in a “If I had that alarm…” sentence. It’s a water detection system, a flood preventer. Simple, huh? To put it to work is as simple as: 1) place the battery; and 2) put it on the floor wherever you like. Any time water touches the alarm, it sounds. And I mean, any quantity of water. Even a little moisture can set this alarm to sound. Place it near the washing machine or the dishwasher and if one of those leaks, the system will sound. You can also check if a recently-fixed pipe (or …) is okay without having to watch it work all afternoon.

Also, this alarm system can be applied to work environments. This would be highly advised for ones working with fragile material, like the ones who work with restoration, books and other documents.

The most incredible thing of all is the low price of it. It costs only $29.95. (or $25,95 if you order more than five units). There you go: flood prevention with only a couple dollars.

Today I got the oh-my-god-so-feared email from Google. My account is suspended because of “invalid clicks”. Okay, my AdSense revenue was low. I mean, very low. But I didn’t use invalid clicks whatsoever. I didn’t pay anyone to click on the ads and I didn’t ask for clicks as you can see. However, only one thing is surely going to happen and that is: death. So today I died on the AdSense platform.

It seems like a big loss, in a first move. I lost $60 and that hurts a bit. But I was already moving in another direction and now it looks like it was the right thing to do. My profits from other types of online activities have been going up and I’ve already recovered half of that loss just tonight. I’m probably moving to AdBrite for random PPC ads and I’m introducing MarketLeverage too now.

Support for this blog has been great and I’ll continue to work on it! Long live IReviewYou.com!
